May comes and goes for us....Always seems to be such a busy time with multiple school events (End of Year Parties, Class Productions, Testing...etc...) and anything we want to do on a weekend before the weather gets too hot....No exceptions this year....We started off with a trip to Savannah for an archery event and our Anniversary....
Kindergarten registration and Kindergarten Round-Up (touring the school and a classroom and a ride on the school bus) occur mid-May....This was our year----She is registered and awaits her time to start Kindergarten.
Aside from testing and the class end of year party, B's class held a poetry cafe...Parents were invited, cafe food was served, and each student read a poem that they had written.
The last day of school---nothing else to be said........
On an extremely HOT saturday we ventured to another State Park for hiking and sightseeing..A very beautiful place that we will definitely be going back too hopefully later this year....Did I mention it was HOT--I think the photo of Audrey speaks for that.
