A tradition I started last year on the last weekend before school started was for us to visit someplace we had not been to a) in a long time or b) had never been too......This year we visited the Fernbank Museum in downtown Atlanta...this was the first time that the girls and Brian had been to Fernbank, I had been there years ago with work functions....they have a permanent dinosaur exhibit and science area along with temporary exhibits that change every few months--the summer temp exhibits were: Ocean Photography and Mythological Creatures-Mermaids, Unicorns, and Dragons... The girls had a great time and we will definetely be visiting again later this year for the holiday exhibits.
